Contraborealis Dancers are fortunate to have live callers and bands for dances

    Bands
    - Many bands come and go - contrabands are no different.

  • Celtic Confusion - the longest running Celtic band in Fairbanks, though some of the members are much younger.
  • Polar Drive - second longest band, but some members have ancestral knowledge of playing for Fairbanks contradances a couple decades back.
  • Ice Jam - Skip, Seth, and Sarah - a group of sessioneers  in the contra world - seth(at)ims.uaf.edu
  • Frostfire - a cast of at least two, and sometimes more.
  • Gaelic Fusion - back and forth between colleges and Fairbanks.
